Colonels Academy celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm and intellectual spirit on 28th February 2026 at the J. Krishnamurthy Amphitheatre. The event was organised by the Science Club to honour the remarkable discovery of the Raman Effect by C. V. Raman, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics.

The programme aimed to inspire students to develop scientific temperament, curiosity, and innovation.

Speech on National Science Day
Sanvi Aukta of Class IX delivered an informative speech explaining the importance of science in daily life and the significance of Sir C. V. Raman’s groundbreaking discovery.

Poetry Presentation
Daivik Ramuka of Class III beautifully recited a poem dedicated to science, adding creativity and enthusiasm to the celebration.

Project Demonstration – Rainwater Harvesting
Nancy and Asti of Class IX presented a working model on Rainwater Harvesting. Their demonstration highlighted sustainable water conservation techniques and encouraged environmental responsibility among students.

🔹 Vote of Thanks
The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by the Principal, appreciating the efforts of the Science Club and encouraging students to pursue scientific thinking and innovation.

The celebration successfully instilled curiosity, creativity, and respect for scientific achievements among students. The event reaffirmed Colonels Academy’s commitment to nurturing young minds with knowledge, research orientation, and practical learning.

Colonels Academy proudly celebrated International Mother Tongue Day on 21st February 2026 with a meaningful and vibrant Special Assembly, highlighting the beauty, diversity, and emotional strength of our native languages.

The programme commenced with a bouquet presentation to the Principal, symbolizing respect and gratitude. The assembly then moved forward with an insightful English speech by Shloka Prakash, who eloquently emphasized the importance of preserving and respecting one’s mother tongue as a foundation of identity, culture, and heritage.

Adding poetic grace to the celebration, Sanskriti recited a heartfelt Hindi poem, beautifully reflecting the emotions, traditions, and cultural richness embedded in our language. The audience was deeply moved by her expressive delivery.

A thoughtful and inspiring Hindi speech by Shivani followed, encouraging students to take pride in their native languages and to promote linguistic diversity in daily life.

The highlight of the assembly was an engaging interactive activity conducted by senior student Abdus, who introduced students to short sentences in different languages such as Spanish and French. Students enthusiastically repeated the phrases, making the session lively and educational, while also reinforcing the idea of global unity through linguistic diversity.

The celebration concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks by the Principal, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in organizing such a meaningful programme and encouraged everyone to cherish and preserve their mother tongue.

The assembly beautifully conveyed the message that language is not just a means of communication, but a powerful expression of identity, tradition, and unity in diversity.

Colonels Academy observed Martyrs’ Day with reverence and patriotic fervour through a Special Assembly organised by Raman House at the Open Air Theatre on 30 January 2026. The assembly was conducted to remember and honour the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and martyrs.

The programme was gracefully anchored by Aadya Jha, setting a solemn and respectful tone. The event began with a bouquet presentation by Shivam Kumar and Shloka Prakash.

The assembly featured a thoughtfully curated sequence of performances:

  • An English speech by Namanya Srivastav, highlighting the significance of Martyrs’ Day and the values of sacrifice and patriotism.
  • A Hindi poem by Harshvardhan Singh, which deeply moved the audience.
  • A powerful skit and role-play depicting legendary freedom fighters: Akshansh Anand as Mahatma Gandhi, Vaibhav Sharma as Subhas Chandra Bose, Suhani Rathore as Rani Lakshmibai, Aarav Viraj as Khudiram Bose, and Ansh Raj as Bhagat Singh.
  • Another Hindi poem by Shivansi Raj, reflecting the spirit of national pride.
  • A graceful group dance by Arpita Raj, Akriti Ojha, Shrishti Kumari, and Astha Mishra, adding cultural richness to the assembly.

The Special Assembly was conducted successfully, with all participants displaying confidence, discipline, and heartfelt dedication. The event truly reflected the values of patriotism and respect for the nation’s heroes.
