The Class X Educational Trip to Siliguri – TRIP 2026, held on Sunday, 18 January 2026, was a successful and memorable outing that promoted experiential learning, discipline, bonding, and overall development of the students.

An Inter-House Debate Competition was successfully conducted today at the school, witnessing enthusiastic and spirited participation from all four houses—Aryabhatta, Raman, Gandhi, and Tagore. The event provided an excellent platform for students to express their ideas, sharpen their reasoning skills, and engage in healthy intellectual discourse.

The topic for the debate was “Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a Threat to Humanity.” From each house, two students participated—one speaking for the motion and the other against it. The competition was conducted in a well-structured and disciplined manner, enabling participants to present their viewpoints with clarity, logic, and confidence.

A special highlight of the event was the rebuttal round held after every speech. During this round, speakers responded to questions raised by the audience as well as by participants from opposing teams. This segment added depth to the discussion and encouraged critical thinking, spontaneous speaking, and analytical skills among the students.

After a careful evaluation based on content, clarity of expression, confidence, logical reasoning, and rebuttal responses, the Hon’ble Principal announced the results.
