The gathering was addressed by distinguished alumnus Parichay Kishore, Batch of 2016, who is currently associated with the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Colonels Academy observed Martyrs’ Day with reverence and patriotic fervour through a Special Assembly organised by Raman House at the Open Air Theatre on 30 January 2026. The assembly was conducted to remember and honour the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and martyrs.
The programme was gracefully anchored by Aadya Jha, setting a solemn and respectful tone. The event began with a bouquet presentation by Shivam Kumar and Shloka Prakash.
The assembly featured a thoughtfully curated sequence of performances:
An English speech by Namanya Srivastav, highlighting the significance of Martyrs’ Day and the values of sacrifice and patriotism.
A Hindi poem by Harshvardhan Singh, which deeply moved the audience.
A powerful skit and role-play depicting legendary freedom fighters: Akshansh Anand as Mahatma Gandhi, Vaibhav Sharma as Subhas Chandra Bose, Suhani Rathore as Rani Lakshmibai, Aarav Viraj as Khudiram Bose, and Ansh Raj as Bhagat Singh.
