Colonels Academy organised an inspiring Motivational Speech Programme on 8th May 2026 at the school Amphitheatre with the objective of motivating students to become disciplined, focused, and goal-oriented in life.

The keynote speaker for the programme was Kailash Tankar, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police from Maharashtra Police. Mr. Tankar has been honoured with the prestigious Dnyansindhu Award by the Government of Maharashtra and the Lok Seva Award for his dedicated public service. He also holds a Guinness World Record for memorising 5000 Bollywood songs.

Mr. Kailash Tankar engaged the students from the very beginning by singing both modern and old songs. Through music and interactive discussion, he explained how entertainment influences the thoughts and behaviour of young people and encouraged students to choose meaningful content that helps build good values and character.

During the session, he highlighted several important life lessons for students:

  • Respect for Parents and Teachers: Students were reminded to value the guidance, support, and sacrifices of parents and teachers.
  • Purpose and Planning in Life: He emphasised the importance of setting clear goals and following a disciplined path towards success.
  • Creative and Independent Thinking: Students were encouraged to think differently, develop originality, and believe in their own abilities.
  • Choosing the Right Company: He explained how good company shapes character, habits, and future success.
  • Dreaming Big with Determination: Students were inspired to pursue their dreams with dedication, discipline, and perseverance.

Through real-life examples, humour, music, and interactive conversations, the speaker inspired students to remain focused, positive, and confident in life.

The session was highly engaging, enjoyable, and motivational for all the students. At the end of the programme, the Principal expressed sincere gratitude to Mr. Kailash Tankar for his valuable words, inspiring guidance, and meaningful interaction with the students.
